Join us as a Billing Analyst at our Contract Logistics facility in Fairfield. This crucial role is central to the organization's ability to analyze data and processes to develop cost-effective, timely, efficient, and high-quality billing solutions. You'll play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and identifying opportunities for RPA optimisation.
Please note this role will be a 12-month fixed term contract.
Role Highlights:
- Collect and analyze customer activity data from various Warehouse Management Systems to accurately calculate billing
- Reconcile billing with customer contracted rates and efficiently resolve queries and complaints
- Manage month-end processing, review monthly P&L, and analyze performance against budget
- Oversee the onboarding process, prepare billing templates, and conduct annual performance reviews
- Maintain and update customer master files and SOPs
- Work closely with operations staff and visit customer sites to ensure seamless transaction flows
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong knowledge of finance and P&L management
- Business acumen, with a solid grasp of industry operations and legislation
- A Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, coupled with a positive attitude
- Advanced skills in SAP and Microsoft Excel and Word
- Prior experience in the logistics or supply chain industry would be a bonus!
