The Role
As Bookings Officer will play a key role in the coordination, management and administration associated of bookings of Town of Port Hedland's facilities, events and externally held accommodation rooms. Based at the Wanangkura Stadium, you will work independently to ensuring effective delivery of all associated services including, processing payments and refunds to hire agreements and bookings. Part of your role will also be to conduct regular facility inspections of all sporting reserves, community buildings and other hired facilities while engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure any maintenance requests identified are rectified.
To thrive in this role you will need:
- Highly developed customer service and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in an office administration role using a suite of computer-based systems and applications.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, use initiative and be well organised.
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the Town embarks on a culture of change with embracing of a wide range of new technologies, a large capitals works program, and a number of other projects that make the Town a desirable place to live and work.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
