About Us: We are a growing company providing bookkeeping and BAS services to medium to small size business. As we expand, we are seeking a skilled Casual Bookkeeper to join us remotely, with occasional onsite duties.
Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to maintain the financial records and transactions of our clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in bookkeeping tasks, possess strong organizational skills, and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Process payroll and maintain employee records.
- Prepare accounts ready for BAS lodgements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate financial reports for analysis as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, or actively studying bookkeeping/accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Myob).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work remotely and independently.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members.
Remote with occasional onsite work; North-based preferred for staff meetings. Office located in Balcatta. Please note this is a casual position with hours expected to grow to part time. Would suit someone looking for school hours or around study (Accounting/ Bookkeeping).
