We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our Bookkeeping team. In this position you will be working with a portfolio of Lincolns clients across a wide range of industries. While the responsibilities will vary according to the clients’ needs, you will broadly be responsible for recording financial transactions and maintaining financial records for your clients. This is an initial 12 month contract with the potential opportunity to extend beyond 12 months.

Your role
Some of what you’ll be doing includes:
- Working for multiple clients
- Using various accounting software applications including MYOB, Xero, Reckon and/or Agrimaster
- Recording financial transactions, processing payroll (including STP) and superannuation
- Compiling information necessary for the preparation of BAS, PAYG, and IAS returns, and in most cases preparing and lodging these returns
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciling month end creditors ledger
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Training clients in their accounting software to help them get the most from their software
- Accounting software troubleshooting
- Contributing at our regular bookkeeping team meetings
