Bookkeeper – Payroll, AR, AP,– Full Time Position
- Community College Company - Established 29 years.
- Parramatta (2 days) and Bankstown location (3 days) / Easy Transport - 5 days per week
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to take on the position of Bookkeeper.
You will be responsible for the following:
Payroll for contractor base & staff
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
BAS & IAS preparation
Payroll tax preparation
Financial Reporting to Board monthly.
General administrative and office duties
Prep for Auditors annually.
Recording financial transactions accurately and efficiently
Generating invoices and processing payments in a timely manner
Maintaining organised financial records and documentation.
To be successful, you will need to possess the following:
Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills (In particular Microsoft Excel)
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and be relied on to meet deadlines
Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify discrepancies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
Preferable but not essential:
Previous experience with Student Management Systems’ E.g., AXcelerate.
Knowledge with CRICOS procedures.
Previous experience working in Education.
