Humpy North is a rapidly expanding backyard living solutions construction company specialising in the design and construction of granny flats, studios, and extended dwellings across Northern NSW and South East Queensland. Recently relocated from Bangalow, NSW to Burleigh Heads, QLD, we are dedicated to delivering excellence in every aspect of our work.
About the position
We are currently seeking a motivated Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the growth and success of our company. Your responsibilities will be diverse and engaging, offering room for personal and professional development as we continue to expand.
The role is permanent part-time and you will work 20-25hrs per week in the office (days and hours are negotiable however you will be required to work on Wednesdays being our payday).
Key Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Processing monthly journals as required
- Full end-to-end Accounts Payable with assistance from Administration officer
- Weekly payroll for 7 staff including all associated payroll payments, EOFY & STP reporting
- IAS/BAS reporting and reconciliation
- General accounts support
- Process improvement to enhance efficiency
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2yrs experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in use of XERO
- Experience with Simpro preferred but not essential
- Experience with Google suite preferred but not essential
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously demonstrating initiative but also a willing & capable team member
