The client is an Australian owned & operated manufacturing/distribution company specialising in the construction & mining industries. With continuous growth and the recent launch of a new product, they are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to maintain the finances of the business.
This role will be full-time and 5 days per week on-site at their Eastern suburbs Office, with flexible start/finish times. Head.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the transactional finance functions of the business. The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Enter & maintain all aspects of Accounts Payable & Receivable (MYOB)
- Maintenance of fixed asset register including asset additional, disposals & depreciations
- Processing payroll (prior experience advantageous)
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with stock management & preparation of monthly stock report (Ostendo)
- Assist with month end processes & reporting
Your Profile
This role would suit someone on their journey to obtain their CPA.
You will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, with strong MS Excel skills, and demonstrated experience using MYOB.
You will also:
- Have excellent communication skills & strong attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving abilities & time management skills
- Great initiative and ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
