AMSL Aero Pty Ltd is an aviation company that started in 2017, with the core mission to develop the world’s most efficient, zero emissions, Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft. The team has designed and built Vertiia - the world’s longest range hydrogen VTOL aircraft, that will serve the aeromedical and emergency services, regional passenger and cargo sectors. We are located at Bankstown Airport, and our flight testing site is in central west regional NSW.
About the role
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper working part-time, 3-4 days a week.
The role will require someone who is proactive, who can operate effectively with limited supervision, and is a strong team player. This role will suit someone who wants to contribute to sustainable aviation.
Duties
- Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable processes
- Prepare and process daily and weekly supplier payments
- Weekly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Manage AR/AP queries, internal and external
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Manage the Accounts email account
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
About you
The knowledge, skills, and experience best suited to this role include:
- Certificate IV Bookkeeping or similar
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping
- Advanced knowledge of Xero
- Intermediate Excel
- Full working proficiency in English
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
- Demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills
Competitive remuneration is on offer. The role will be based in Bankstown Aerodrome. We are open to flexible working arrangements, including fully remote following an initial training period for the right candidate.
