About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team in the South Melbourne head office. This is a PART TIME position (15 hours per week).
Position duties will include but not limited to:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- BAS preparation
- P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
- General office duties
The successful applicant must have the following:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role
- Expertise in Xero is highly regarded
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and ability to problem solve
- Intermediate to advanced level in the full Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience using ATO Business portal
- Accuracy and attention to detail
