Bookkeeper

Part Time - Monday - Friday - School Hours 

A bookkeeper is required to join our friendly team at Grid Construction. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a keen eye for detail, ensuring every financial statement is impeccable, and possesses strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Record day to day financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank daily.
• Monitor financial transactions.
• Account Receivables/Payable in a timely manner
• Payroll processing STP, PAYG and Superannuation reconciliations
• Monthly/Quarterly reporting
• Assisting in the preparation of IAS/BAS
• Communicating with clients via phone and email
• Handles confidential information in a professional manner

Key Requirements

• Proficient in MYOB AccountRight (essential)
• 3 – 5 years bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Be able to process accounts, data and transactions with accuracy and precision.
• Great team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
