Accounts Officer
We are looking for a part-time (20-25 hours per week), experienced Accounts Officer to support our Finance Team. Responsibilities include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking and administration tasks.

About the role
The Accounts Officer role includes:
Accounts Payable
- Processing purchase orders
- Processing invoices and employee expense claims
- Reconciliation of creditor balances, liaison with creditors, and coding and
- Reconciliation of expenses
Accounts Receivable
- Raise sales invoices
- Handle customer enquiries
- Handle customer queries
- Send statements
- Handling and reconciling cash sales
- Credit control
Banking
- Petty cash
- Banking
Other
- Accounting tasks
- Phone and reception support
- Maintain archive and key registers
- Ensuring adequate supply of staff amenities, consumables and products
- Provide cover for other administrative staff, when required
Who we are looking for…
The successful applicant will have:
- Post-secondary qualifications in business administration.
- Two years’ experience in an accounting role.
- Accurate data entry and recordkeeping skills.
- Understanding of quality assurance and compliance procedures.
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications, at least intermediate level in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with external stakeholders professionally by phone and in person, and work with people with disabilities.
- Good time management skills with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Current National Police Clearance & a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with WA Directions.
