About the Opportunity
Due to consistent growth across our business, we have a fantastic opportunity available for a highly motivated, bookkeeper join our team in North Coogee WA.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Accounts Receivable, including support with preparing project progress claims
- Accounts Payable
- Payroll and related duties for approximately 70 employees (wages and salary)
- BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, Construction LSL, and Payroll Tax submissions
- General Ledger reconciliations, particularly Bank, Debtors, Creditors, Credit Cards, and Payroll related accounts
- Cash flow forecast
- GL coding and Journal Entries
- Assist the accountant with month end procedures
About You
To be considered for this role, you will possess;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience across accounts payable & receivable, general ledger, payroll, payroll tax superannuation, and BAS preparation
- Certificate IV Bookkeeping / Accounting
- Intermediate MS Office skills (email, Word, and Excel)
- Experience with MYOB (Payroll) and with ERP systems (ideally Micronet)
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude
- A desire to grow and develop a long-standing career within the AFP business.
- Valid driver’s license
