Job Title: Bookkeeper and Payroll Officer
Employment Type: Part-Time - approx. 20-25 hours per week.

Pretzel Australia is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will work with assistance from our accounts officer to play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records.
- Prepare and submit monthly and yearly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Provide support for audits and tax preparation.
- Handle other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices in Australia.
- Experience using accounting software such as; Xero and Dext.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.

This position offers flexible work arrangements, with WFH opportunities available for select work days and a minimum of one day working from our head office in Mount Lawley.
