A bit about the role
You will be part of a high preforming team of Building Support Officers, delivering top-tier customer service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless experiences within the Planning and Building Service
You will positively contribute to the innovative, empowered and engaged culture within the Planning and Building Department.
What you’ll deliver
Perform administration duties such as workflow management, data entry, correspondence and filing.
Utilise computer systems to record, maintain, distribute, manage workflows and close applications/requests/customer enquiries and access database information to meet internal/external customer needs and respond to statutory obligations.
Provide advice on administrative issues within areas of responsibility and respond to basic enquiries and as required escalate enquiries to the technical staff.
Plan and organise resources to deliver projects including maintenance of accurate records and, if necessary, organising meetings.
Draw on a range of information sources to identify new ways of doing things and building continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring
High administration skills such as workflow management, data entry, correspondence and filing.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and ability to operate a variety of software systems.
Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check & Eligibility to Work check.
