The opportunity
The Bush Management Advisor delivers on-ground conservation outcomes through strategic relationship development and the provision of technical advice and support to key stakeholders and managers of remnant habitats, including wetlands. The Bush Management Advisor assists land holders to access information and funding to support on-ground management of remnant habitats and provides technical expertise to LC Landscape Board projects and planning processes.

Special Conditions:
- Position is based in Limestone Coast region of South Australia (with actual location to be negotiated).
- A current minimum class C driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4WD is required.
- Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory criminal history check.
- May have the opportunity to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- Some out of hours work and intrastate travel involving overnight absences from home may be required.
- Required to participate in the LC Landscape Board’s Performance Development and Review Program.
Tenure: Term contract until 30 June 2028.
Remuneration: PO2 $86,950 - $96,223 p.a. pro rata for part time hours.
