Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: Canberra/ Open for hybrid workDuration: 12 months with possible extension
The Senior Business Analyst will contribute to the agency's delivery of projects and programs designed to meet our strategic objectives. They are responsible for supporting the planning of sprints, including robust discovery, requirements elicitation and documentation, problem and pain point analysis, and solution/options generation, both technical and non-technical.
Key accountabilities* Support the Business Analyst capability in the Service Design & Transformation team with a particular focus on the Service Modernisation project. * Collaborate effectively with client divisions and stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and associated artifacts for a variety of projects and initiatives. * In consultation with project team and the business, drive the development and delivery of: o Problem statements and pain points analysis o Discovery, options analysis and requirements elicitation o Requirements documentation and business process mapping for to-be * Undertake robust analysis to identify gaps between as-is and future state procedures, systems and frameworks to inform work plan, business processes and policy development. * Facilitate communication between the business and technical teams, translating technical jargon so it is easily understood by all.* Strategic engagement with key stakeholders to increase awareness and knowledge of project requirements.Qualifications, accreditations and experience* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analysis is required* Demonstrated experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders* International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification is highly regarded* Experience supporting digital transformation projects, preferably in Dynamics365 highly regarded
