Your new role
In this 12-month contract as the Business Analyst - Incidents you will be responsible for providing sound investigation, ownership, and forming remediation recommendations across a variety of areas. There are 4 key parts to this role; the management of insurance and administration related breaches and incidents, the assessment and management of remediation incidents, to deliver excellent member outcomes by solving problems through independent and collaborative thinking, and finally, work with internal and external stakeholders to implement process improvement.
This role can be located in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Report and resolve member facing breaches and incidents.
- Develop and seek approval of incident remediation solutions in accordance with Fund policies and practices.
- Ensure timely implementation of approved remediation actions through external and internal stakeholders.
- Work with stakeholders to identify and implement any preventative actions.
- Assist in the review and updating of business rules.
- Appropriately track activities with clear traceability and complete within the agreed timeframes.
- Identify, communicate and assist to implement opportunities for process improvements.
- Independently build rapport with stakeholders and understand stakeholder challenges and pain points.
What you'll need
- At least two years' experience within insurance operations and / or superannuation.
- Solid working knowledge of superannuation legislation obligations.
- Ideally have exposure to RG277.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to proofread, spelling & English grammar skills essential.
- Well-developed sense of initiative.
- Able to work diligently, efficiently, and with accuracy paying close attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage the range of tasks required of this position.
- Tertiary study in either business, superannuation, insurance and accounting/finance desirable but not required.
