Primary Objective:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into actionable deliverables.
- Design, build, & maintain efficient solutions using tools like SQL Server & Power BI.
- Assist in maintaining databases according to industry best practices.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of business intelligence services and applications.
- Conduct regular reviews of information security.
- Support code quality, organization, and automation.
- Contribute to change management activities.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Fulfill additional operational, technical, and maintenance tasks, including occasional after-hours and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Support database maintenance following industry standards for development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of business intelligence services and applications.
- Conduct information/data security reviews and escalate issues as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
- Assist in change management activities, including documentation development and operational guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems.
- Provide necessary training and documentation to support users.
- Adhere to Safety & Wellbeing requirements.
- Undertake other operational, technical, and maintenance tasks as necessary, potentially involving after-hours and weekend work to minimize business impact.

Essentials:
- Tertiary qualification in the field of Computer Science or related discipline.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Relevant Field.
- Experience working with databases (specifically MS SQL Server) including programming, design, and performance tuning.
- Experience in data analytics tools and techniques is required (e.g., Power BI).
- Understanding of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central desirable).
- Understanding of project management tools and methodologies is desirable (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Strong computer science fundamentals (e.g., data structures, algorithms, programming languages, troubleshooting, technology best practices, version control).
- Ability to write efficient code. Understanding of SQL, DAX, and Python is advantageous.
- Any relevant certifications in IT, data analysis, or project management are desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and problem diagnosis.
