Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and help us expand our presence in the Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in your allocated territories and drive growth in existing accounts.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market trends and competition.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including wholesalers, retailers, and industry influencers.
- Assist in development of sales and marketing strategies and tactics to achieve sustainable business goals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor sales metrics and provide regular reports to the management team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive intelligence.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company's products and services.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated, with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Be able to travel locally & interstate regularly for client meeting, trade fairs and conferences.
- You must have Australian residency and a current drivers licence.
Senior Business Development & Account Manager
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B territory sales, Business Development, account management, or a related role within the diamonds and jewellery industry.
- Strong knowledge of diamonds and jewellery products, market trends, and industry dynamics.
- Strong network and relationships within diamonds and jewellery industry required.
Business Development Manager
- Proven track record of at least 2 years in B2B territory sales, Business Development & Account management
- Existing network and experience within diamonds, jewellery or watch industry will be highly regarded, not mandatory.
