Our client is a leading Specialist Non-Bank Lender in the mid-tier non-bank landscape who offers niche lending solutions and alternative products to its many SME clients and networks.
With over $700M of Assets Under Management and over $1.5B in lending per annum, they offer both residential and commercial products.
As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for managing client calls from our valued brokers, as well as assisting Business Development Managers with follow up communication for existing brokers. You will also be involved with proactively calling leads to pre-qualify new sales opportunities, so your natural inclination for sales is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Generating sales and growth of the business lending portfolio through effective relationship building
- Increasing broker uptake of the business product suite across an allocated portfolio
- Working with internal key support areas and stakeholders to influence positive outcomes for finance brokers and their customers
- Supporting Business Development activities and relationships with brokers
Desirable attributes:
- Thorough understanding of the mortgage lending process, including credit assessment, loan structuring and the mortgage settlement process
- REAL ESTATE experience is highly advantageous
- Experience with using Salesforce CRM software
- An understanding of both mortgage lending and the third-party finance industry landscape
- Experience in a telephone-based sales or relationship management role, preferably with a finance or lending focus
