We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who will be responsible for driving growth opportunities and fostering strategic partnerships within the construction supply industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction market, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
This position takes responsibility for the sales systems and processes for the company’s intake of new projects. You will be responsible for fostering existing customer relationships, while continuing to grow the customer base, you will work closely and report to Managing Director.
You will be a commercially focused, self-starting team player who enjoys dealing directly with stakeholders whilst ensuring both the clients and company needs are met or exceeded. In return you will receive a competitive remuneration package + bonuses, together with fantastic career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and decision-makers
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting appropriate customers through the sales process, listening to and analyzing their needs, providing information and advice regarding products, providing solutions for enquiries and helping to guide their decision-making process prior to finalizing sales
- Act as a point of escalation and assistance to the sales team for large-scale sales projects and sales, and/or customer enquiries/issues that need additional support
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to senior management

Skills & Attributes- Business and commercial acumen
