Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth and building strong client relationships within the logistics or courier delivery industry. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Prepare and present business proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with prospective clients.
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for management review.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and build brand awareness.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in Business Development, sales, or account management.
- Preferred candidate will also have logistics, transport or courier industry experience.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for growth.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
