The 4C Group is a rapidly expanding and innovative company with over 400 staff that specialises in providing staffing solutions for container loading/unloading operations nationally.
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team in Sydney based at our office in Parramatta. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our continued success and growth.
What You'll DoBusiness Development:
- Prospect for potential new clients and convert leads into opportunities.
- Conduct cold calls and site visits within the designated market or geographic area to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Identify key decision makers within client organisations and meet with company representatives/decision makers to farm further work.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals that address client needs and objectives.
- Participate in pricing discussions and negotiations to finalise deals.
- Present new/extended services to enhance existing client relationships and business.
- Utilise market knowledge to identify and develop 4C Group's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Provide Business Development training and mentoring to internal staff.
Account Management:
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand evolving requirements and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating a "can-do" attitude in finding solutions to client challenges.
- Ensure the smooth onboarding and inception of new clients to the operations team. (This role will include ongoing account management for certain clients)
About you:
- Proven track record in driving business growth, implementing sales strategies, and generating leads.
- Leadership skills and experience in 3PL Logistics or Warehousing industry preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Result-oriented with a proactive approach to growth.
- Knowledge of CRM systems (and their implementation) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
