About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth through identifying and cultivating new opportunities within the hospitality sector. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our client's reach within restaurants, cafes, hotels, and the health sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new client opportunities within the restaurant, hotel, and health sectors, while nurturing and leveraging existing client relationships.
- Research and develop innovative growth strategies within targeted industry sectors.
- Prepare compelling business proposals for potential clients and respond to Tenders.
- Foster and expand comprehensive industry knowledge to identify and nurture a pipeline of potential customers.
- Monitor current market trends and opportunities, making recommendations for service and product enhancements.
- Keep our CRM (Salesforce) updated with current client information and milestones.
- Regularly report sales activities, new client opportunities, and growth within current accounts to the General Manager.
- Demonstrated experience in Business Development.
- Proficiency in identifying and nurturing new client relationships.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate favorable outcomes with key stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills and a proven track record of driving successful results.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset to integrate seamlessly into our client's close-knit, culture-driven sales team.
- Experience in project management, including goal setting, planning, and project execution.
- Strong research and strategy development abilities.
- Strong computer proficiency, including a comprehensive understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
- A strong desire for continuous learning and personal development.
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry is advantageous.
- Successful sourcing of new clients and growth within existing clients.
- Successful achievement of sales budget.
- Successful achievement of yearly margin budget.
