Job Summary: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the hotel's customer base. They will develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates, identify new business opportunities, and establish relationships with potential partners and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with potential partners, clients, and industry professionals.
- Create and manage promotional campaigns, including advertising, social media, and email marketing.
- Develop and manage budgets for marketing and promotional activities.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and make necessary adjustments to achieve targets.
- Work with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of sales and marketing efforts.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote the hotel and develop new business opportunities.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing or business development.
- Strong understanding of the hotel industry and current market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
