Form of workThe Company Looking for the opportunity to join an established, Australian owned business? This nationally known safety workwear company are looking for their next Business Development Manager to join their sales team. The Role You will be reporting to the GM and Managing Director and will be based at the company’s office, not far North of the Perth CBD. You will mostly be on the road, generating new clients and sales opportunities for the business. You other duties may include but are not limited to:
- Generating sales activities
- Continually managing and developing relationships with existing and new clients
- Closing new deals and expanding on previous ones with clients
- Creating and implementing sales strategies within the sales team
The Candidate
As the successful candidate, you will have proven experience as a relationship builder and meeting targets within a sales environment. Other skills and attributes include:
- Demonstrated strong sales acumen in a comparable role
- Three years or more in a BDM position
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Experienced sales background in Mining, Resources or other comparable industries is highly regarded.
