The Client:
Our client is a market leading supplier of Cladding products for the Commercial Construction Space. They are well financed and are anticipating rapid growth in their ANZ operation during the next few years. Spending a fortune on R&D they are at the forefront of their industry and boast a wide array of PSA arrangements with both Multi-National Corporates and Australian owned SMEs.
Able to cater for both small and large commercial/infrastructure projects they have a wide scope and can boast market leading status. As such they are now looking to recruit a solution sales person to target Architects, Builders and Installers in Melbourne.
The Role:
You will be based in Melbourne (home office) and you will work in a hybrid environment commuting to the South eastern Suburbs for meetings and training. The focus of your customer base is in the Metro area, however, you will be required to travel regionally as required in order to meet your customer's requirements.
The role is focussed on dealing both horizontally and vertically Architects, Commercial Builders and Installation companies managing the entire sales process from Specification to Order.
They have a strong brand in the market and enjoy a large and increasing market share, as such this is a key role and requires an applicant with a good understanding of the Commercial Construction Sector in Melbourne.
The Candidate:
You will work in the Construction Industry and have a solid understand of the intricacies of the sales cycle from Specification to Installation.
You will have gained solid relationships within the industry throughout your career and you will be able to adapt your style from white collar boardroom presentations to rolling up your sleeves and getting out on site.
You will be technically minded and you will be able to read technical drawings. Product knowledge can be taught.
Alternatively you may be coming from a project management or estimation background and looking to pursue a career in Sales.
