Our company is experiencing steady market growth in our labelling division. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team and continue client growth across Australia.
This is a full-time permanent position based in South Granville, NSW.
The role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager/General Manager - LMA, this is a critical position in the sales team and will be responsible for driving growth and success in the LMA division.
You will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth. This role requires leadership skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to drive business growth and achieve sales targets within Australia.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, both short and long-term.
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with existing clients and cultivate new relationships with potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that customer needs are met and that the company delivers quality service.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network and promote the company’s products and services.
What you’ll need
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in Business Development and sales in print, logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or transportation.
It would be ideal if you are a self-starter with a passion for sales and Business Development, have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and have a network within the industry to grow your client portfolio.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Business Development and sales in print, logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, and transportation.
- A self-starter with a passion for sales and Business Development.
- A well networked BDM who understands the industry and can seek out short- and long-term solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian laws and regulations regarding logistics, warehouse, and freight.
- Excellent communication skills.
