The Opportunity
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll have a strong focus on new Business Development, along with supporting the growth and management of existing accounts. Getting out on the road and hunting for prospective business to grow your portfolio, developing and maintaining strong relationships, enthusiastically promoting the product range and educate and provide solutions utilising your technical knowledge. Achieve the targets and reap the rewards! Working in a supportive company culture, full product training will be provided, and you will have the ongoing support of skilled technical staff.
About You
- Energetic, positive attitude, impeccable attention to detail and ability to work independently with a focus on results
- Experience selling into the construction or similar industry and possess a practical understanding of the challenges of selling to trades, fabricators, or construction sites and resellers
- Ability to build strong rapport and effectively manage ongoing client relationships, using consultative selling techniques, and follow up practices
- Experience in identifying and securing new business and growing market share
- Competent computer literacy skills and CRM experience
- Experience selling the value of a premium product in a competitive market
- Passionate and driven –a self-starter with excellent time management skills
