The OpportunityOntex Australia is seeking to recruit a results-oriented Business Development Manager to join the team at our modern manufacturing and distribution site based at Eastern Creek, Sydney NSW. Reporting to the Commercial Director Healthcare, ANZ, you will be responsible for achieving sales, margin, and profit growth plan targets through new business acquisition and sales expansion in various market sectors, with a primary focus on the Home Care and Hospital sector.
Key Responsibilities:1. New Business:
- Identify and secure new customers across diverse sectors in NSW.
- Effectively manage accounts in Aged Care, Hospital, and Home Care.
- Strategically acquire new business to achieve sales growth targets and budget compliance.
2. Business Development:
- Strategically identify and target potential customers within specific channels.
- Cultivate relationships with influential decision-makers.
- Conduct research to assess sales potential and profitability.
- Achieve prescribed new business objectives tailored to each channel.
- Facilitate seamless implementation of new customer accounts.
- Prepare compelling proposals, quotes, and tenders, negotiating agreements as required.
- Execute a well-planned call cycle to sustain the new business pipeline.
3. Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate reports on sales, customer needs, opportunities, and competition.
- Efficiently utilize the CRM system for planning, call logging, and activities.
- Actively participate in industry-related events.
- Collaborate closely with other Business Development Managers and the sales/marketing team for seamless teamwork and alignment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of competitive healthcare consumables sales experience.
Skills and Qualities:
- Results-oriented with proven success in previous sales roles.
- Understanding of the sales process and influencing key stakeholders.
- Positive attitude and strong accountability with a history of exceeding targets.
- Highly developed sales skills, including rapport-building and emotional connection with customers.
- Ability to build rapport with prospects and work autonomously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated background of autonomy.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent teamwork abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Valid driver's license (proof required).
- State and Federal Police check required for employment.
