We’ve got an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join Resilium Insurance Broking as part of our NSW/ACT Team!

What you’ll need to do:

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with our authorised rep (ARs) partners in NSW/ACT. You will also work with multiple stakeholders across the region to ensure collaboration across ARs, Underwriters, premium funders and Resilium Insurance Broking Head office to deliver outstanding customer focused service. This is an excellent opportunity for a Broker or Underwriter, or sales professional to move into a role full of variety and which will help our businesses continue to thrive.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Growth of our existing AR's Income and placed GWP and maximising income opportunities
  • Prospect and convert new ARs to the Resilium network
  • Building and maintaining a strong solid functional relationship with the AR network
  • Looking to optimise placements into the market and working closely with the placement team
  • Providing support to ARs with complaints, training, procedures and general assistance.

What you’ll need to bring:

  • A minimum five years’ experience within the General Insurance Industry with knowledge and experience relating to Commercial Business.
  • General Insurance skills with all product accreditations.
  • Strong relationship management and issue resolution skills across the Broking industry.
  • A level of business acumen including data analysis and the preparation of annual sales plan.
  • Able to co-ordinate Business Development initiatives including sales and marketing plans.
  • Identify opportunities for communication, promotions, marketing initiatives and process improvement.
  • Is a team player – supportive of colleagues and willing to take on new challenges.
  • Style and values that promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strong achievement and results focus, balanced with an awareness of the longer-term implications of actions.
