Their products can be seen throughout in a variety of volume and medium density dwellings across Southeast Victoria and Gippsland.
Due to organic growth, our client is actively seeking a talented Businesses Development Manager to lead their most buoyant division

The Role:
This role will see the successful candidate splitting their time between developing existing accounts, pursuing new Business Development opportunities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing existing and creating new customer relationships within medium density and volume builder markets
- Identifying key opportunities in the market and proactively engaging to secure new business
- Converting new opportunities into sales
- Following up with the customer from quote right through to delivery onto site and completion of the job
- Managing relationships with existing customers to maximise revenue opportunities
- Learn and maintain CRM system, keeping it up to date with all pipeline work
- Lead targeted marketing activities including attendance at relevant trade shows, and seminars etc
- Active participation within the team and sales meetings providing updates on progress
Ideal Experience:
- Proven field sales experience from within the building materials space – this could be windows, doors, timber, roofing, cladding, insulation, plumbing, waterproofing but with specific contacts in the residential builder market (not commercial)
- Must have strong relationships with home builders across SE Vic – typically our client deals within the medium density / project builder and aged care sectors and as such, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate wins in these sectors
- Stable career history
- South East based as the majority of business will be there and in Gippsland
- Ambitious, tenacious and driven with a real passion for delivering beyond the clients expectations
