We are working with our client to find a strong Business Development Manager who will be responsible for will be responsible for developing new and existing client relationships in designated markets, positioning our client as the preferred AV/ICT solutions integrator. You will formulate, client target strategies, the preparation of competitive & comprehensive quotations, formal bid presentations, and direct client interaction delivering solution sales to technical buyers.
Required Experience
- Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with prospective clients, existing customers, consultants, builders, and suppliers to cultivate new business opportunities, ultimately driving sales of audio visual, VC, IT and Service Support related solutions.
- Identify and qualify potential customers in the right market verticals and develop a Business Development plan to reach them.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting and actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the line managers.
- Possess drive, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored.
- You will have individual responsibility for new business and are expected to be autonomous.
- You will work in close collaboration with the management team for complex large pitches and strategies.
- You will have a new sales conversion revenue target set by the General Manager, achieving this target will activate the commission incentive scheme in your contract.
- You will effectively interact with other departments including the Operations team when handing over projects ensuring you fully and correctly brief in all aspects of the sale.
- Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and any further documentation.
- Keep abreast of technological advances in AV, VC and IT fields.
- Other responsibilities/duties as required which may vary from time to time based on business requirements.
