Our client is a specialist solar engineering company operating in the commercial solar market. They have access to a world first lightweight solar technology that will open up new markets across Australia and create a unique point of difference in the commercial solar market.
The Role
Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to play a crucial role in generating leads and cultivating new business opportunities through tele-sales, site visits, tender submissions, and daily client management. They will be responsible for promoting the company's range of Conventional and lightweight solar and energy storage products You will be based out of North Sydney.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Actively generate leads and new sales across defined markets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation efforts.
- Process inbound sales inquiries.
- Work closely with the Sales manager to develop and implement a sales strategy tailored to the target market.
- Engage with new and existing clients to secure business, providing full technical support from our in-house operation and engineering teams.

Selection Criteria.
To be successful for this position, you should have:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in solar sales.
- Proven track record in business-to-business sales.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Passion for renewable energy and the solar PV sector.
