About the role:
This role involves meeting established sales goals to enhance market presence in the electricity and gas sectors. It includes cultivating valuable connections with key clients in Western Australia, devising and executing growth strategies, attaining quantifiable sales benchmarks, and scrutinizing competitor actions and pricing trends.
In this role, you'll:
  • Acquire new strategic customers which complement the existing portfolio and increase market share.
  • Assess proposed transactions and formulate a business case to analyse and cultivate new business prospects.
  • Innovate and create novel products, services, or solutions by blending existing offerings, and proactively generate leads.
  • Find the opportunity, close the sale, and assign these new accounts to the retention team.
Ideally, you'll bring to the role:
  • Extensive proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills and persuasive ability.
  • Comprehensive grasp of the foundational principles of gas and electricity markets
  • Proficiency in engaging with customers across various levels and translating their requirements into comprehensive solutions.
  • Mastery in overseeing sales pipelines and producing management reports.
  • Adept at regularly reporting on performance against targets and strategic objectives.
