Business Development Manager

The Position

This company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join them, working from their North Shore Sydney Head Office, and develop new customers within the New South Wales and National marketplace. On an average day you will:

• Execute high level sales strategies on a national basis
• Develop new business opportunities
• Manage accounts that you have created and increase their spend
• Be tasked with analytical reporting of the sales process
• Provide full collaboration with the operation team to provide exceptional service
• Help us ensure that less trucks are driving on the road partially empty

The Benefits

If you are the right person for the role then this company will offer:

• A salary of between $80k - $90k + Super
• A car allowance of $20k pa
• A generous OTE and Commission structure - Commission paid on the lifetime of the account

The Candidate

In order to be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Experience in either palletised freight, freight brokering or interstate logistics
• Full compliment of computer skills (MS Word, Excel and CRM platforms)
• A background in booking software or logistics software would be desirable
• Excellent relationship development and people skills
• Is a strong and analytical problem solver
• Enjoys hunting new business
