Business Development Manager - Vic

We are currently seeking a Full-time Business Development Manager - (VIC) reporting to the State Sales Manager - VIC/TAS. Our head office is based in Villawood, NSW. You will be part of a team of professionals responsible for assisting the State Sales Manager - VIC/TAS with their daily duties to meet the demands of the business. 

You will be responsible for the following objectives: 

• Protect and grow existing accounts appointed to you
• Identify and win new business opportunities maximising your sales performance in effectiveness and productivity
• Increase sales of consumables products through Tender / Contract compliance as well as Non-Contracted lines and accounts
• Tender management participation where directed or required
• Exceed financial sales goals on a monthly/quarterly and annual basis
• Maximise your sales performance in effectiveness and productivity
• Comply with Multigate Medical Products sales operational requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate: 

• Retention and growth of existing accounts through cross-selling and new products 
• Thoroughness of territory sales plans 
• New business achievements with consumable product sales from off-contract opportunities 
• CRM data collation and appointment entries
• Monthly/Quarterly sales revenue versus sales goal and exceeding minimum margin rates

Skills and Experience:

• Approximately 5 years sales experience in a medical and/or hospital environment with a demonstrated track record of professional success
• A proven track record of growth in Hospital Sales, ideally in a Consumables/Surgical role (Ideally 5 years)
• Demonstrated territory management experience - planning, prioritising, and working autonomously
• Knowledge of Public and Private Hospitals
• Excellent Customer engagement and relationship building skills
• Customer-centric mindset and a strong desire to resolve issues; deliver a high level of customer focused service.
• Agile and adaptable nature, able to work in a rapidly changing environment
