We are currently seeking a Full-time Business Development Manager - (VIC) reporting to the State Sales Manager - VIC/TAS. Our head office is based in Villawood, NSW. You will be part of a team of professionals responsible for assisting the State Sales Manager - VIC/TAS with their daily duties to meet the demands of the business.
You will be responsible for the following objectives:
- Protect and grow existing accounts appointed to you
- Identify and win new business opportunities maximising your sales performance in effectiveness and productivity
- Increase sales of consumables products through Tender / Contract compliance as well as Non-Contracted lines and accounts
- Tender management participation where directed or required
- Exceed financial sales goals on a monthly/quarterly and annual basis
- Maximise your sales performance in effectiveness and productivity
- Comply with Multigate Medical Products sales operational requirements
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Retention and growth of existing accounts through cross-selling and new products
- Thoroughness of territory sales plans
- New business achievements with consumable product sales from off-contract opportunities
- CRM data collation and appointment entries
- Monthly/Quarterly sales revenue versus sales goal and exceeding minimum margin rates
Skills and Experience:
- Approximately 5 years sales experience in a medical and/or hospital environment with a demonstrated track record of professional success
- A proven track record of growth in Hospital Sales, ideally in a Consumables/Surgical role (Ideally 5 years)
- Demonstrated territory management experience - planning, prioritising, and working autonomously
- Knowledge of Public and Private Hospitals
- Excellent Customer engagement and relationship building skills
- Customer-centric mindset and a strong desire to resolve issues; deliver a high level of customer focused service.
- Agile and adaptable nature, able to work in a rapidly changing environment
