About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to grow your sales career as a full time Business Development Manager to join our passionate sales team.
Based in Yatala you will be reporting to the National Sales Manager, and will be responsible for developing new business, through canvassing, networking and leveraging off existing relationships to onboard, retain and grow a high quality customer base.
Some of your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Achieving sales objectives and targets.
- Building and maintaining new relationships with customers.
- Completing Undercarriage Inspections in the field.
- Representing ITM Mining to current and potential customers and site travel.
- Preparing quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
- Developing growth strategies and plans to target new business.
- Building and nurturing existing client relationships to support expansion of existing services.
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
- Identifying and mapping client needs and negotiating suitable outcomes.
About You
We’re looking for a professional and dynamic team player who is driven to achieve results.
You will enjoy developing relationships, sourcing opportunities and engaging with a wide range of people. To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated successful outcomes
- Outstanding client service skills
- Knowledge of undercarriage, heavy industry or mining
- Ability to set and achieve targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professionalism, a proactive attitude and a strong work ethic
A full, clean ‘C’ class drivers’ licence is essential and ability to travel to client sites across the State will be required.
