Business Development Manager - Wastewater

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.Position Overview: As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within the wastewater industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic partnerships to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wastewater industry, including municipalities, treatment plants, and engineering firms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our product offerings.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials that effectively showcase our pumps and valves solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (desirable).
• Proven track record of success in Business Development, sales, or account management within the industrial sector, with specific experience in selling pumps and/or valves to the wastewater industry.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for exceeding targets and objectives.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events and conferences.
