Star Community Care is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal and challenging, involving collaboration with NDIS participants, Allied Health professionals, support coordinators, referring agencies, and businesses. You will engage in a diverse array of tasks, including meeting specific targets. This is a part-time role with the potential to transition into a full-time position.
Your Daily Duties Would Include But Not Limited To:- Understanding each program within Star Community Care to effectively promote among NDIS participants and providers, managing intake and waitlist efficiently.
- Promoting Star Community Care services to increase client numbers and enhance community reputation.
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Practitioners, Managers, Referring Partners, and Support Coordinators.
- Assisting with onboarding new clients, conducting service needs assessments, and establishing NDIS funding goals.
- Handling inbound/outbound calls and responding to inquiries via text, web, phone, and email.
- Assisting clients in navigating NDIS plans, goals, documentation, and understanding of diagnoses and disabilities.
- Overseeing and managing the client intake and waitlist register, coordinating with managers across Star Community Care for timely onboarding and documentation.
- Being the primary contact for all new client inquiries for services with Star Community Care.
- Sending quotes, information packs, and pricing details to all inquiries.
- Participating in monthly meetings with Managers and the Marketing team to discuss ongoing promotions and campaigns.
- Preparing regular reports on Business Development activities, achievements, and challenges for executive review.
- Utilizing various internal and external software systems and platforms.
- Reporting on lead conversions, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Meeting specific targets related to Business Development and client acquisition.
- Demonstrated experience in a client intake or client services role.
- Minimum 2-3 years of NDIS experience in a similar position.
- Solid understanding of the NDIS price guide.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management, time management, and communication skills.
- Effective listening skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Skills in expectation management for clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence and competence in navigating various IT systems.
- Empathetic and understanding nature to ensure clients receive necessary support and services.
