About the role
As the Business Development Representative, you will:
- Utilise your scaffolding knowledge and industry contacts to create new business opportunities with Tier 1, 2, and 3 commercial construction clients
- Build strong business relationships with Project Managers, Procurement, Contract Administrator and Site Managers
- Provide quotes and solutions to potential clients
- Manage sales pipeline and future business opportunities
- Conduct pre and post-evaluations of projects
- Work with the Territory Manager and operational teams to ensure service level agreements are achieved
- Plan and execute territory sales plans
- Respond to tender requests and negotiate supply contracts
- Monitor competitor activities and market activities
About You:
To be successful in the role, it is essential that you have proven scaffolding knowledge and sales experience. Working previously on medium to large-scale commercial projects, you will demonstrate:
- Exceptional rapport-building and relationship-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent project management skills
- A can-do-attitude
- Technical knowledge or hands-on scaffolding experience is an advantage.
- Good computer literacy in MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of CRM management
