As the Business Development Representative, you will:
- Utilise your scaffolding knowledge and industry contacts to create new business opportunities with Tier 1 commercial construction clients
- Build strong business relationships with Project Managers, Procurement, Contract Administrator and Site Managers
- Provide quotes and solutions to potential clients
- Manage sales pipeline and future business opportunities
- Conduct pre and post-evaluations of projects
- Work with the Branch Manager and Operational teams to ensure service level agreements are achieved
- Plan and execute territory sales plans
- Respond to tender requests and negotiate supply contracts
- Monitor competitor activities and market activities
The requirements
To be successful in the role, it is essential that you have proven experience within the Scaffolding, Building and Construction or Equipment Hire industries. Working previously on medium to large-scale commercial projects, you will demonstrate:
- Exceptional rapport-building and relationship management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent project management skills
- A can-do-attitude
- Technical knowledge or hands-on Scaffolding experience is an advantage.
