BX Bunka Australia, specifically Sprint Roller Shutter have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join our team based in Altona. You will join a progressive, friendly team focused on quality and customer service within a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will:-
- Have a level of skill commensurate with 5 to 7 years of managing businesses with full P&L responsibility, preferably within the Commercial/Industrial Overhead Door Industry
- Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Requires strong technical/product knowledge and problem-solving skills and setting of priorities
- Hold a current valid driver's license
- One has to be in the field for sales so he must be hardworking
- He/she must be sensitive to the customers' needs and requirements
- He/she must be competitive and driven
- Hold the required licences to ensure the business can supply and install the appropriate products.
Duties & responsibilities involve but are not limited to:-
- Planning, directing, and coordinating different aspects of the business that you have been allotted.
- Responsibility for the continued growth of the sale of company products to meet required sales targets of the business
- Full P&L responsibility for the business unit across two branches – main manufacturing facility at Altona, Vic and sales/service/distribution branch in Dry Creek, Adelaide, SA.
- The requirement to work within budget parameters to deliver effective and efficient services to clients.
- Cost Management with focus on EBITDA contribution versus budgeted EBITDA
- Focus on growing group sales/revenue opportunities through bundling inter-company resources and product offerings in partnership with other BX Commercial business, Max Door Solutions, Arco Architectural Systems and Retrotech Door Services.
- Oversee the management of, scheduling, dispatch, and inventory processes within the business to maximise levels of operational efficiency, achieving budgeted volume and recovery targets, and meeting customers’ requirements for finished products at premium standards of safety, quality, competitiveness, and availability.
- Evaluate and give feedback as required for your employees to be successful by coaching, developing, and mentoring your team
- Ensure that vendors and suppliers are properly compensated and continue to meet the needs of the company
- Proactively identify new business opportunities to increase sales in line with the Commercial/Industrial product offering
- Identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders within the industry with a view of acquiring them as a customer for the Commercial business unit.
- Develop a succession plan for your position, including input on selection of successor, and transition of successor to day to day operations.
