Our client is a fast-growing investment firm with a high-performance culture. They are in an exciting period of transformation and looking for an experienced professional to support the Executive team across a broad range of business operational and strategic initiatives. There is no ‘typical day’ as such, however the breadth of your role will see your skills utilised across the following functions:
- Provide oversight and direction for various operational functions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning across departments and teams.
- Create & execute company policies and procedures; Streamlining workflows, optimising processes, and identify areas for operational improvement to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead and manage critical projects and change initiatives by facilitating communication, managing expectations, ensuring coordination among different teams and timely delivery of project goals.
- Create, shape and lead the People & Cultural strategy.
- Preparation of board reports, distributing meeting minutes and following up action items
- Maintain ABR, ASIC, RAM, AUSTRAC portals and registers.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, utilising external IT support.
- Act as the liaison for external vendors across Legal, IT, Facilities & Property Management, Insurers and Accountants etc.
- Manage & review Business Continuity Plan.
- Coordinate & manage Directors Agreements.
Skills / Experience Required
- 10+ years’ experience in an Executive Support / Business Management capacity, ideally gained within the Financial Services or other high-performance environment.
- Previous exposure to ASIC / board reporting is essential.
- High level commercial acumen with the desire to have an impact in the broader business.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
- Adaptable to change and the ability to identify areas for improvement across the business
- Strong critical and forward-thinking skills
