The Role
Reporting to the Director Operations, the Business Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving the operational strategy to ensure alignment with all commercial and customer ambitions. You will have oversight and responsibility for a variety of functional areas including customer support, internal account management and business admin/reporting while managing key customer, people and supplier systems. You will be accountable for all new customer onboarding programs as well as delivering ongoing growth across existing customers, identifying process improvements and efficiencies both in terms of ways of work and system optimisations.
Working in tandem with sales teams, external suppliers and new/existing customers you will ensure the business solutions our client provides continue to be relevant and innovative across the supply chain industry. In short, as the Business Operations Manager you will foster cultural and operational change to propel the organisations and its customers forward.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach and inspire the customer support team
- Review, maintain and enhance all formal operations policies and processes
- Drive process improvements to enhance automation, standardization, and simplification
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes and maintain documentation
- Develop and maintain effective system administration for key business systems
- Enhance the current suite of reporting to support data-driven decision-making
- Review, manage, and maintain vendor contracts and engagements
- Implement a robust risk framework to identify and mitigate operational risks
