The CompanyOur client is a large state government body located in the CBD, currently looking for a Business Partner / Analyst to lead a project with the objective to implement a new set of operational KPIs across the organisation. An external review has highlighted that the non-financial KPI reporting needs to be improved and requires someone to lead and execute this project as it is critical for their funding. This will be an initial 6 to 12 month project on a Fixed-Term contract.The company is located in the CBD and offers a flexible work arrangement with a preference to be in the office 2-3 days per week. The Role:Reporting to a Senior Manager, your main responsibilities will be:Working closely with the finance & data teams as well as operations to define and agree on the Operational KPIs.Deliver service performance analysis and insights.Help with the internal and external reporting of budget papers.Analysis of non-financial and financial data and identifying the right data sources.Managing the overall rollout of the KPI project, business wide. Executing the project plan.Working together with external stakeholders at the Department and negotiate KPIs and KPI accuracy.Working together with internal stakeholders to inform about resource allocation decisions.Working with and improving financial models that work with the operational data and provide insights to the business. Your Profile:Proven ability to deal with large sets of data and work with different systems.Proven ability to set up and rollout operational KPIs, preferably in the public sector.Strong reporting and analytical skills. Ability to identify trends and work with financial models.Strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to be a true Business Partner for people inside and outside the organisation.Ideally you have worked in a government environment before and have an understanding of how funding models work.A solutions driven mindset.Ability to lead and execute a project and keep all stakeholders informed. The preferred candidate can come from different professional backgrounds.
