The Role
The Business Partner People & Culture will partner with our leaders, supporting and educating them to get the best out of their teams, and helping our employees along the way.
The role will see you:
- Support and build our leaders to create a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Provide expert guidance and support on minor and complex HR matters.
- Maintain positive employee relations and ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Be a trusted advisor on recruitment panels to help us get the best people.
- Work with our leaders on workforce and succession planning.
- Lead and contribute to projects to improve our People & Culture function, including process improvement and supporting our RAP and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
You will work within the People & Culture team, an experienced group that are committed to positive change, always keen to hear a different view, and love a laugh.
About You
We are seeking someone who can think strategically, operate pragmatically, and is happy to get in the detail when needed. Strong communication skills won’t go astray.
Local Government is a little different, but if you come with the right attitude, we will help you learn the ropes and you can experience the reward of working with people that are passionate about the community they serve.
