About the role
Northeast Auto Group is committed to achieving our growth strategy, which in turn means ongoing investment in our People & Culture strategy and the expansion of our P&C team. Due to continued growth and expansion, an opportunity for an additional P&C Business Partner has become available. Reporting to the People & Culture Lead, you will be an integral part of our P&C Team working collaboratively with experts in Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Risk & Compliance and WHS&E.
You will support business stakeholders to navigate day-to-day operational ER/IR issues, providing you the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of different business entities and industry sectors. You will have the opportunity to contribute to, and proactively implement our People Strategy, and play an influential role in the success of our people and our business.
Day to day you will:
- Act as a trusted advisor, provide guidance and support to enhance people and leadership capability
- Provide coaching and advice on all people matters including IR/ER, policy, legislation and people related issues.
- Manage the employee lifecycle working closely with the Talent Acquisition team
- Develop and implement new initiatives formulating policy, procedure and/or process where required
This role will require intra/interstate travel on a regular basis.
About You
This is a rare opportunity for someone who is either experienced in a similar role or ready to step up into a Business Partnering role. You must enjoy a generalist role and be excited about the prospect of influencing and coaching leaders through a diverse array of day-to-day operational HR matters.
You will have a natural ability to establish key stakeholder relationships and be able to establish credibility as a trusted advisor who organically becomes an extension of the departments in which you manage. You will enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic and ever changing environment, be able to manage multiple priorities, and have a forward-thinking and innovative approach to problem solving.
You must have a passion for providing your stakeholders an outstanding level of service to ensure expectations are met and matters are dealt with in a timely manner. You will be responsive to the business needs and must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
