Business Performance Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Performance Manager to be part of our talented and dynamic Finance team based in Melbourne.
Business Performance manager plays crucial leadership role in the Danone Saputo Dairy Australia (DSDA) commercial finance team to ensure strong forecasting, controlling and monitoring of financials by business partnering with the Sales and Marketing teams as well as identifying opportunities to drive commercially beneficial outcomes in line with internal business ambition.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role plays active role in the organization with financial analysis and planning, business cases and what if scenarios for decision making and best commercial outcome, provides insightful analysis and reporting of the performance versus Bud and FCST.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Finance lead on commercial projects providing P&L to assess viability of the projects and estimate commercial outcome and recommend actions - i.e. pricing, channel expansion, pack strategy
• Ensure commercially sound decisions consistent with the company objectives, including analysis and interpretation of the results and making recommendations to maximize financial results.
• Lead and develop one team member.
• Own the monthly reporting and forecasting cycle ensuring an accurate picture of Business Performance, drives, and risks and opportunities and influence business partners to take corrective actions where necessary.
• Support commercial and category teams to deliver profitable revenue growth with analysis on current and what if scenarios.
• Finance lead in strategic planning for the development of the 5yr strategic plan.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance for internal and external audit purposes specific to the role.

You are an experienced Finance professional who has great cross-functional collaboration skills, sound leadership skills, an inclusive working style, and able to partner to drive successful outcomes. Your prior experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment will be highly advantageous in this role. You have a positive attitude, easy to get along with, and have a natural flair for building rapport with varied stakeholders.
To be successful you will also have:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role, experience in FMCG and manufacturing preferred
• University Accounting degree, major in commerce or accounting preferred.
• CA / CPA / CIMA qualified.
• MS office; Excel; SAP system; SAP BI tool - expert knowledge
• Experience in Business Partnering and Continuous Improvement Controlling, forecasting, reporting.
• Expertise and depth of commercial finance and FP&A experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency
• Strong analytical skill, commercial acumen
• Enthusiastic, passionate, proactive, curious.
