THE COMPANY
Our client is looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to become Managing director for their chartered accountancy firm to manage and grow the business. They provide taxation and accounting services to family groups, particularly SMSF’s, as well as a director related boutique investment manager.
YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE
- Management and investment accounting for several large family offices
- Experienced across monthly management reporting, cash flow analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Essentially the core of your role will be a virtual CFO to a multitude of clients
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
- Preparation of BAS & IAS Statements
- Preparation of electronic workpapers, audit papers and liaising with external auditors
- Preparation of quarterly management reporting
- Liaising with ATO when required
- New and existing client development
- Quarterly reconciliations of investment balances
- Managing all aspects of the accountancy firm
The ideal candidate will have the following key requirements:
- CA ANZ Membership
- Tax Agent registration
- Good experience across SMSF’s
- Experience in a senior accounting role
- Experience with XERO and/or MYOB Accountants Enterprise
- Some experience and interest in investment matters
- Excellent written and communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, unsupervised and collaboratively
- An excellent focus on Client Service
